Nov 14 Minutes & Pres. Bernie's Message

Dear Calssmates,

Pls see attached minutes of our last week meeting held in Romer's residence.
The meeting was brief and focus our discussion to those activities that need an immediate action.
We already come-up with a computation of major expenses that we can have during the homecoming such as food, table & chairs, flowers to be used in chapel and stage, raffle prizes, give-aways, sound system. Some other expeses of upcoming activities like the motorcade and also video, streamers, party after the reunion, raffle for our classmates and additional food to be discussed on Sunday meeting.
Our total fund at present is Php 332,000.00 and still pushing pledges still to be collected. Hoping to have the updated list of donors on Sunday to facilitate.
We'll keep you posted for more developments...

Highlights of the Meeting:

Taste Test of Food to be Serve during the affair

(four types of viands were serve by the caterer for the taste test, para sa panlasa ng mga selected jury “kuno”, okey naman daw po!. aprub naman Mr. Tayag…. Kaya pinalusot ka na ng mapanuring jury).

Updating of funds and estimation of the total costing for the

expenses that may be incurred for the preparation of the affair

(Ms. Queng, Bong and Romer have already transferred the account from Mr. Canlas. Current account on the bank is at P308,000.00 except from the cash on hand which has been collected last Nov. 14)

10k has been forwarded to Ms. Liza Angeles for the downpayment of T-shirts. The sample texture and color of the t-shirts were already presented during the meeting.

The expenses for the food catering, stage and chapel decorations, t-shirts, give aways for teachers and the sound system will cover an estimated costing of P186,640. The cost for the raffle and other expenses shall be discussed next meeting to derived the estimated over-all costing for the affair.

Drafted Program for the Affair designed by the Committee

(The drafted Program for the Affair submitted by the Program Committee is already due for comment, pls. secure the copy via e-mail from Bernie).

Scheduling of the proposed retreat and motorcade

(The tentative schedule of the motorcade is set on December 27. We will secure the copy of the complete route from Bhong this next meeting).

(The retreat is tentatively set on Dec. 19. But the group suggested that we will inquire first for the date of availability of Sister Josefina. It was also decided by the group to call for a General Assembly this November 22 (Sunday), 1 pm at Bhong Briones Farm to determine how many are really decided for the holding of the retreat to assure the attendance of the majority and to avoid the occurrence of any embarrassing situation for the batch).

The drafted letter of invitation for the teachers and the sample sizes of T-shirts shall be presented next meeting by the concerned committees.
